| GEMS is a girls project running in the Heath End & Hale area of Farnham. GEMS was launched in September 2009 with the follwing vision. | ||
| GEMS Vision Statement: |
“Our aim is to work with girls in mind, body and spirit. We want to help girls realise their potential, worth and value. We hope to do this is by providing a safe place where girls can learn more about themselves and others and a supportive environment where they can be encouraged, receive advice, have fun and develop as young women. “We aim to put on trips and residentials where girls can have opportunities to do activities away from home. GEMS hopes this program will provide an encouraging atmosphere to find faith and values within a Christian based ethos. “GEMS is an inter church project run by women from different churches in Farnham and the surrounding area.” |
